Divergent by Veronica Roth Review

Divergent #1 book of the Divergent series!
Hello book lovers!
This year I've read lots and lots of books, some have been amazing, some have been breath taking, some have been just too good to put into words and... this book, Divergent by Veronica Roth, fits into all of those categories; so I thought of writtng a reveiw about it.

"Fear doesn't shut you down, it wakes you up." -Four

This book is about a girl called Beatrice Prior. She lives with her mum, dad and brother in Abnegation, one of the 5 factions in her city. But this year, everything changes when she goes to take a test that is supposed to help her choose what faction she's going to be in for the rest of her life. Beatrice finds out she is a Divergent instead of a Candor, Dauntless, Abnegation, Amity or Erudite; she doesn't belong to any of the 5 factions. But she still had to choose a faction because otherwise she would become Faction less, which meant living on the streets, without food, medical servide, money, proper clothes...So she chooses Daunless, the brave. During her training in Dauntless, she changes her name to Tris. She has a really hard time there at the begining because she was born as an Abnegation. Which meant she had been broght up as a nice and caring person rather than brave and emotionless one. After she gets help from Four, her instructor, Tris becomes one of the strongest in her training group, but that is when one of the leaders sees something suspicious about her and she sees something suspicious about the leader...

That is all I'm going to tell you, even though there is way more really interesting and amazing stuff that happens in that book and the next 2 books (Insurgent and Alligent). So, the main reasons why I like this book are; because it is amazingly written, anyone can read it, it doesn't have to be a YA reader or a Sci-Fi lover or anything like that, it has an amazing story line which I think we can all relate to because all of us at some point have felt like we just didn't fit in and had to work out why and what was the way to cange this or the way to find a group where you did fit into. And this book has just made me feel so many emotions, while I was reading the book. At some pioint I felt sad, maybe because someone died, or maybe because something just didn't work out the way it was planned to. Other times I felt like the happiest girl on earth because of the romance in the book, which I must say, is kind of a weird romance that would actually never happen, but still it made me feel like I had butterflies flying around in my stomach. This book had me sitting on the edge of the seat waiting for the big thing to happen, all the time. When I read Divergent, I realized how unexpectedly things can happen and how you have to sometimes fight through them, like when the lady that was testing her to help her choose the faction told her she was a Divergent and she was probably going to get caught and then they would most likely kill her, she fought through and actually didn't get cought. But it wan't always bad things that happen to Tris. There were also some parts when I had to be waiting to read the good part, for example, when she chooses her faction, because i did`'t know hwat faction she was going to choose, allí could do was keep reading and reading until I got the part when she said which faction she was going to choose.

So, if you feel like this book is cool or sounds interesting, go and read the book!!!. It is just such a great book, it is beautifully written from Tris' point of view, as I said before, which really helps understand how she saw things and why she thought about things.

These are some facts about this book that will help you get to now the book better and hopeflly encourage you to read it becuase it is such and amazing book .
